Guzman y Gomez came to Code and Visual to build an engaging set of training modules for their staff learning platform.

We created an interactive simulation of the assembly line inside the GYG kitchen, showing learners the proper preparation process for each of the menu items, and then testing them through a hands-on simulation of real-world orders.

This immersive approach to training exposed learners to the correct methods and also tested them on realistic situations where orders have slight variations to the standard.

Working with the Storyline system, we were able to build custom client modules to work with their existing LMS, pushing the interactive functionality of Articulate software with multivariate logic and conditional checks to determine if the right process was being followed. Learners were given five attempts before they were required to restart the training.

This interaction method was so well-received that we rolled it out across successive additional modules, targeting different aspects of the GYG kitchen system.

We were absolutely excited to work with such a fresh Australian brand with a great aesthetic and a dedicated team looking to enhance internal training delivery.
