Pass! No Puppy Guarding! is the first of a series of soccer skills apps that we have developed for LearnSport Books. The US/Australian company produces educational books and apps to act as coaching aids to help teach the fundamentals of sports to young players. We built the app using the cross platform powerhouse Adobe Air which allowed us to use a single code base to port the app to both Android and iOS environments, with native GPU accelerated graphics and interactivity. Not only did this slash the project time in half it also allowed us to provide huge cost savings to the client when compared to the alternative of building two completely separate app projects. The inherent qualities of touch screen devices are engaging to audiences of all ages, and through the application of gamification Pass! No Puppy Guarding makes learning a fun, lean in experience that teaches children concepts through participation.
